TAG ECM Showcases SecureWorks use of Cascade Server

ATLANTA - OCTOBER 18, 2004 - The Technology Association of Georgia's (TAG's) Enterprise Content Management group October 28, 2004 meeting features a case study presentation of how SecureWorks, the largest privately held managed security company in North America, uses Hannon Hill's Cascade Server software. Based in Atlanta, GA, SecureWorks serves banks, credit union, utilities, and hospitals.

SecureWorks previously used an open source web page editing tool and experienced many limitations, necessitating the upgrade to an enterprise-class content management system in the form of Cascade Server. Cascade Server provides several enhancements over the previous tool:

- True multiple-user system

- Easy browser-based word processor

- Flexible workflow engine

- Dynamic PDF and printer friendly content generation

"SecureWorks quickly outgrew the open source product they were using", said David Cummings, CEO of Hannon Hill. "After evaluating other solutions and receiving a recommendation from Spunlogic, their interactive agency, they knew Cascade Server fit their needs. We're looking forward to their presentation at the upcoming TAG event."

With Cascade Server, SecureWorks has already launched an enhanced Internet site and is working on a new intranet. They plan on incorporating more users and taking advantage of additional advanced functionality in the near future. "Cascade Server is a user-friendly and time-saving system that is going to greatly enhance our ability to manage content," said Nathan McNabb, Marketing Manager at SecureWorks. "We're very excited about the possibilities."

The TAG event is Thursday October 28, 2004 at the Macquarium Building, 1800 Peachtree Street, in the Buckhead area of Atlanta. Event registration is online at tagonline.org and is available for members and non-members.

About SecureWorks

SecureWorks, an Internet security service company, protects corporate networks against hacker attacks. In 1999, the company introduced the first technology to stop, rather than simply detect, intrusions before they can penetrate the network. Today SecureWorks is the only service that prevents intrusions at the perimeter, firewall and host levels; monitors client networks 24x7; and provides ongoing vulnerability assessments. The company's growth reflects corporate demand for "rock-solid Internet security with no hassles, no headcount, and no capital outlay." SecureWorks clients do not need to hire security specialists, staff for 24-hour network monitoring, or buy capital-intensive hardware and software.
