TAG Panel "RSS: Changing Web Dynamics"
ATLANTA - FEBRUARY 27, 2006 – Hannon Hill Corporation, a leading provider of web content management (WCM) solutions, today announced that President and Founder David Cummings participated as moderator in the Technology Association of Georgia's (TAG) panel, "RSS: Changing Web Dynamics" on Thursday, February 23, 2006.
Kevin Howarth of TechLINKS, Georgia’s online guide to technology, offers the following summary of the event:
"Although incredibly useful, convenient and revolutionary once used, RSS (Really Simple Syndication) has one of the lowest adoption rates among all Internet tools. Yet, it's emerging as a powerful content distribution mechanism for news outlets, businesses and marketers. Last night's TAG Content Management meeting featured Greg Tyree (CNN), Brett McCarey (Macquarium), and Scott Voigt (Silverpop) along with moderator David Cummings (Hannon Hill). Cummings prefaced the panel discussion by giving one of the most eloquent definitions of RSS I've yet heard. Tyree explained why RSS signifies how media is heading toward more and more personalized content, McCarey discussed innovative ways that marketers are harnessing RSS to improve their campaigns, and Voigt unraveled the intersection between email marketing and RSS. Held at Macquarium, attendees networked, mingled and walked away with actionable information about RSS to take back to their organizations and businesses."
The panel was held February 23rd, 2006, 6:00pm-7.30pm at Macquarium, 1800 Peachtree St, Suite 250, Atlanta, GA 30309.
