College of William & Mary Launch New Site Powered by Cascade Server

ATLANTA, GA - August 11, 2008 - As the culmination of a redesign process that began nearly two years ago, The College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, VA recently launched their completely revamped website, www.wm.edu.

William & Mary's extensive web redesign process began in mid-2006, when the college's Provost asked a web assesment committee to thoroughly review the College's web presence and recommend changes and improvements.  Now, after mapping their strategy, engaging consultants, selecting Cascade Server as their CMS provider, and plenty of re-writing, re-designing, and re-tooling, the College's web team proudly launched the website on July 31.

Anticipation for this launch was high, due in large part to the web design team's project blog, re.web.  Team members documented the entire process, including the CMS research and ananlysis that led them to choose Cascade Server, and for their efforts, the blog won eduStyle's People's Choice Award for Best Institutional Blog.
