Container

Containers are used in the Administration area in place of folders. They are used to organize and limit access to Administrative Components. These are found on the left column in the Administration user interface within each of the following Components: Asset Factories, Connectors, Configuration Sets, Content Types, Data Definitions, Metadata Sets, Publish Sets, Destinations, Transports, and Workflow Definitions.

To create a new container, please follow these steps:

  1. Click on Administration on the top navigation menu.
  2. Click on the Component type where you would like the Container placed.
  3. Click New Container on the left side just below the type of Component you selected.
  4. Enter a name for the new Container in the Name field.
  5. Verify that the Parent Container field points to the location in which the new Container should be created.
  6. Click Submit.
