Publish Set

Publish Sets are used to allow groups of publishable assets to be published on-demand or on a schedule. Publish Sets may contain files, folders, and pages. For example, if a user creates and publishes a new press release, all pages that link to the new press release should also be published. Publish Sets ensure that these related assets are automatically published as a group.

To create a Publish Set:

  1. In the Administration area, select Publish Sets on the left.
  2. Select your desired container, or create a new container to hold your new publish set.
  3. Click New Publish Set.
  4. On the General pane:
Name - This is how the system will identify the publish set.
Parent Container - This will already be set to the current container, but it can be overridden by clicking the browse icon.
Schedule - This allows the set to publish on an automatic schedule.
  5. On the Files pane:
Add the files you wish to be part of the set.
  6. On the Folders pane:
Add the folders you wish to be part of the set.
  7. On the Pages pane:
Add the pages you wish to be part of the set.
  8. Click Submit to save your new publish set.

A Publish Set should be incorporated into a workflow publish set trigger so that when a piece of content has been approved, it is published along with all of the assets in the set.

Publish Sets are controlled by container-level access rights and can be limited to certain users.
