Site Import Tool
The Site Import Tool automates many of the tasks that go into setting up a new site in Cascade Server. Based on an uploaded page, the system creates a template, content regions, blocks, an asset factory, a site folder structure, and administrative components.
To import a site:
- On the Tools menu, select Import -> New Site .
- Enter a Site Name . This is the name that will be used for the site's base folder, as well as all containers and components in the Administration area.
- If you have a webpage upon which you would like to base a new template, select it in the folder chooser for Template Upload .
- If you have included a template, zip any required files and select it in the folder chooser for Zip Upload.
- Click Submit .
