Can I use Cascade Server to manage multiple sites?

Content can be published in multiple configurations or formats to one or more different sites. The system does this through the use of Targets, Destinations, and Transports.

Cascade Server has an entirely granular structure, enabling relationships to be flexible and customized to suit an organization’s needs.

Under the base folder, numerous folders can be created, each holding a separate site. Each site folder will contain folders with content elements organized by type (such as images and blocks), and folders with pages organized in a logical structure as it would appear in a site map.

Individual sites may be housed within the same system, but can be given an entirely different set of styles, outputs, targets, and destinations.

Through the access rights feature, only users with the appropriate permissions will be able to view or edit each site.

To ensure technical users and site administrators have the appropriate permissions, Cascade Server offers a Manager role in addition to Administrator. Users with manager privileges are given complete administrative access to a specified area on the system, for example, to one site.

A Manager has the exact same privileges as an Administrator over their section, and are therefore able to create other Manager users and specify sub sections relevant to those users.
