Ways to use Cascade with Flash, JavaScript, and PHP

Join Jon Whitener as he walks through some of the ways he used Cascade Server in conjunction with Flash, JavaScript, and PHP during a "Meet Our Faculty" Web Project at the University of Detroit Mercy. Topics will include:

• Setting up Asset Factories so that partners in another state could input content

• Use of index blocks and stylesheets to sift through all the profiles and select them for display in different ways, including random sub-sets and JS-animated cycling

• Use of PHP through Cascade and transformation of index block XML into a PHP data source

• Use of structured data definitions

• Inclusion of Flash video in Cascade-published pages
