How do I automate the addition of an account (website) so that SuperUpdate is setup when the new customer account is setup?
This is easily accomplished through our URL API. The URL API provides a programming language independent mechanism to manage SuperUpdate accounts. To add an account you would construct a URL like:
http://localhost/superupdate/index.php?page=url_api&action=add_account
&admin_password=superupdate&is_md5=0&username=test&password=test &email=test@hannonhill.com&rootdir=c:/Inetpub/wwwroot/test/&url=http://localhost/test/
The URL you construct should contain all the parameters necessary to add the account.
