Newsletter for 2006, Vol. 05 - May Cascade Server 4.2 Ready for Download

We've added some major new features this month to Cascade Server 4.2, including a revamped visual workflow builder. It promises to simplify the process of creating workflows from scratch, without losing any of the flexibility that comes from our system. With the enhanced workflow builder, it is now easier to visually assign different steps, actions, and triggers to model business processes in your organization.

In addition to the workflow builder, Cascade Server 4.2 now offers:

  • SOAP-based Web Services - this allows you to interface with the software through third-party applications and expands the opportunities for maximizing your investment
  • Image Gallery Chooser - users now have thumbnails of images when they are selecting a graphic making it easier to quickly place images in content
  • Nested Groups in Data Definitions - developers can now build more complex data types in the system supporting additional use cases
