Cascade Server 6.4 Webinar
Earlier this month, Hannon Hill held its first feature-related webinar. The goal of this webinar was to help clients understand the new features of our most recent release of our web content management product, Cascade Server 6.4. Hosted by Hannon Hill Software Engineer Syl Turner, the demonstration showcased the features in Cascade Server 6.4 including the product's Twitter and WordPress Connectors, Syntax Highlighter, Drag and Drop Data Definition Builder, Broadcast Messages, and the new 'compare with current' capabilities debuted with this release.
The webinar also provided an open forum for clients to get their questions about the product answered by the engineers who developed it. We had 135 clients in attendance and due to the overwhelming response, we've made the video available on our site.
Our Documentation Process Gets a Makeover
In recent months, Hannon Hill has made some changes to the way we are updating the documentation on our Cascade Server Knowledge Base. In order to better serve our clients with more appropropriate and helpful resources, we've established a team to tackle and improve the current resources on the Knowledge Base. Once a week, various team members from across four of our departments meet online as part of our "KB Overhaul" process. Each team member is assigned a new documentation issue or ticket, and spends at least an hour working on the issue, where it is then passed through our workflow before it is published.
The documentation tickets themselves come from a variety of sources. Some are found while we are scanning the Knowledge Base ourselves, while others come directly from the KB Feedback Form, visible on the right side of every Knowledge Base page. So, if you have feedback on how we can improve our documentation, please use this form to let us know. Your feedback will immediately be turned into a ticket for our team to work on.
