Cascade Server 6.x Firefox Extension
For many users, the Cascade Server Firefox extension is one of the most-appreciated and highly-useful tools in their Cascade arsenal. So to go along with the recent upgrade to Cascade Server, which represented a leap forward in features and functionality, Hannon Hill updated the Firefox extension that complements it as well. Rather than clicking through multiple options, this extension makes many of Cascade's most frequently used commands available through a more efficient single right-click.
For a more thorough explanation, take a look at our blog post about the original Cascade Server Firefox extension, and if you'd like, download the latest version here.
Cascade Server User's Conference 2009 Update
The 2009 Cascade Server User's Conference fast approaches, and we're pleased to announce that nearly 40 attendees have already signed up. Though we've been hard at work putting it all together, we wanted to keep you in the loop, so we wrote recently about the benefits of the User's Conference for new Cascade Server users and all the great extras that come with attendance.
While we're busy planning the speaker session line-up and all of the conference's other activities, we'd still love to hear about presentations you'd like to see, topics you'd like to see covered, and any other ideas you have to make the 2009 Cascade Server User's Conference a huge success. Head over to the User's Conference 2009 Idea Exchange at our Success Community to contribute.
Best Practices for CMS Web Teams
For businesses of all sizes, making the decision to acquire a web content management system is an important one. But before that decision is made and a CMS is implemented, putting together the right team to manage, support, and contribute to the CMS is even more important. To this end, Hannon Hill put together 'Best Practices for Web CMS Teams', a guide for organizations that are in the market for a CMS, and for current CMS users that could benefit from documenting and strengthening their CMS web teams' roles. While organizations will have differing needs and team members with various levels of expertise, this guide serves as a great primer for organizations in all stages of the web CMS implementation process.
