Beacon Technologies To Host Free Hannon Hill Webinar
As recently announced on our blog, Hannon Hill is presenting an upcoming webinar to be hosted by partner company Beacon Technologies. The free webinar will outline how Beacon undertakes the process of a site redesign, and will spotlight some redesigns they have completed for Cascade Server customers. If you are anticipating doing a redesign of your own, or if you’d just like to take a peek into Beacon’s proven methods for success, we encourage you to sign up today. The webinar will take place on March 8, 2011 at 2PM EST. We hope you’ll make plans to attend!
Why We Value Transparency At Hannon Hill
Whether you’re a client of ours or someone just browsing our site researching content management systems, you may have noticed that we’re very open when it comes to sharing information. Sharing access to our knowledge base and forums are just a few examples of this, and we’re proud to say this openness is no accident. This philosophy also extends into our client community with our GITHUB repository where we encourage users to share their code for specific scenarios, and we also make many of our own examples available for download. Read more about the philosophy of transparency at Hannon Hill straight from our COO Kat Liendgens.
A Change To Our Idea Exchange Voting Structure
Based on requests from several of our customers, we recently changed the voting structure on our Idea Exchange. Previously, individual users were limited in the number of votes they could cast, but some customers made us aware that the voting restrictions had left them unable to post new suggestions or vote up others they felt were important. For this reason, we have done away with voting restrictions altogether. So stop by our idea exchange and give us all the ideas you’ve been waiting to post!
Hannon Hill Gives Back
We’re very excited about our new initiative that we hope will benefit a worthy cause through the use of our product and our team. We will give an unlimited user license of Cascade Server to a non-profit charity organization yet to be determined. In addition to the software, we will include free maintenance and support, training, and a QuickStart integration. As we are reaching out to charities which might be a good fit from a technology and staff perspective, we would love to hear our clients’ ideas and suggestions. If you have a candidate in mind that you would like to nominate, please contact us before March 31, 2011.
