Designing A Page Output For Mobile Devices

As the popularity of smart phones grows, many of our customers implemented or started designing mobile outputs for their websites.  Creating the additional output within Cascade Server is actually very easy and is based off a template designed specifically for mobile devices.  The majority of the work lies in the actual design of the template prior to integration into Cascade, so we authored a blog to provide you with some of the design considerations when creating a mobile output.

Hannon Hill To Host Cascade Server Best Practices Webinars

We are pleased to announce our upcoming webinar series on “Cascade Server Best Practices” to be hosted by a member of the Hannon Hill team.  Through these topic-focused webinars we hope to highlight new features that clients may not be utilizing, discuss implementation best practices, showcase a variety of examples, and provide opportunities for clients to ask additional questions on each webinar topic.  The first such webinar will be presented on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at 2PM EDT, and will focus on the use of Index Blocks.  We hope you'll read more about the webinar and sign up today to reserve your spot!

Don't Surrender To The Render

A question customers sometimes ask our Support team is, "Why are my Pages taking so long to load?"  A typical investigation into the matter first includes verifying that the application has enough resources allocated for optimal performance, and then taking a deeper look into the way the customer has integrated his or her site(s).  Specifically, the first thing investigated is whether or not there are any slow-loading regions in the Page.  We are proud to announce that the 6.8 release of Cascade Server will make it easy to spot problem areas in Pages using Metrics.  Read more on the value you can expect from this exciting new feature.
