We listened to your feedback and suggestions and used them to help make Cascade 5.1 more intuitive and efficient than ever before. The new features aiding Cascade in accomplishing this goal of enhancing the user experience include Quick Links, a new Advanced tab, and a simplified Template Import Process.
Quick Links delivers more convenient access to your most frequently-used features, while the new Advanced tab consolidates some of the less-frequently used ones. In addition, the Template Import Process has been automated so that every template submission is handled in the expected manner every time.
Users are sure to benefit from the increased usability, functionality, and efficiency that these new features will provide. These enhancements serve to streamline the user experience while providing the consistent performance you've come to expect from Cascade Server.
Note: Cascade Server 5.1 runs a series of database updates for users upgrading from 4.x that could require up to several hours to complete depending on the size of your database. It is recommended that you perform this conversion during off-peak hours. Please account for this potential downtime when upgrading.
