End User'sToolkit
Cascade Server is desiged to make it as easy as possible for non-technical users to create and update their content. Some of the tools in Cascade Server's End User Toolkit include:
WYSIWYG Editor
Cascade Server's WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) Editor makes updating and formatting your content as easy as writing an email. It even includes familiar keyboard shortcuts to really enhance your overall experience.
Native Image Editor
Cascade Server provides a native image editor that allows you to rotate, crop, edit, and make any other changes to your images on the fly. There won't be a need for any more image editing software.
Comprehensive Content Check
Cascade Server checks all of your content for spelling, accessibility, and broken links. These checks ensure that the content you put out not only meets your standards, but meets web standards as well.
In-Context Web Analytics
Gain interesting insights into how your content and pages perform with integrated Google Analytics functionality, located right within Cascade Server.
Content Reuse Blocks
Reusing and repurposing content throughout, from pages, to page types and even other sites can be accomplished with relative ease. This ensures your content and your pages can maintain a coherent message throughout a decentralized website.
Content Wizards
Focus on your content, not on your design and layout. Simple content wizards help guide the process from structuring the content to how it will display on a page. Pertinent data fields are often included, such as titles, start dates, and categories.
Social Media Toolkit
Cascade Server now syncs with your social networks allowing you to publish content, cross-post, and interact with your Facebook, Twitter, and WordPress accounts.
Personalized Dashboard
With Cascade Server, each user is greeted with a personalized dashboard based on their individual needs and access rights. The Dashboard is always customizable and can offer a unique experience for all our users.
Content Check-in/out
Cascade Server allows content to be checked in and out by users to maintain an order and process in evaluating and updating content throughout the system.
Version Control
Cascade Server has the ability to keep as many versions of assets (such as pages and images) as you need to, so that you can easily activate previous versions and compare versions. Audit trails are also included for greater user control.
"It's making it very easy for non-technical people to dive in and keep their web content up to date."
