Business Development Representative

You’re exactly who we want to hire as our next Business Development Representative! Our ideal candidate has high-energy, a contagious personality, outstanding interpersonal skills, and is comfortable presenting in any environment whether it's on the phone or at a conference. In this role, you will support the sales team in selling Cascade CMS, our proprietary web content management system.

Responsibilities

  • Have fun and be passionate about your work (#1)
  • Contact and qualify leads and prospects
  • Set appointments and provide company and product information
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, e-mails, opportunities, and follow-up activities
  • Assist with RFPs and RFQs
  • Represent the company at conferences and trade shows

Requirements

  • Can-do, positive attitude
  • Infectious passion for sales and developing relationships
  • Comfortable making phone calls, at least 50 per day
  • Critical thinker with ability to understand prospect needs and qualify leads
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or another CRM
  • Ability to overcome objections quickly and push through rejection
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • BA/BS Degree from a 4 year institution
