One of the perks of being a Cascade CMS user is the vibrant community of developers, administrators, marketers, and end users. Cascade CMS users are always willing to collaborate, which drives the product roadmap. In an effort to further encourage collaboration, we will be spotlighting individual users to learn more about them.
In this “From the Desk of…” customer spotlight, we will be learning more about James Jusayan.
What do you do for Las Vegas Valley Water District?
I am a Senior Applications Developer for the Corporate Web Team and the primary Cascade CMS developer and admin. Aside from application and Website development, I help set standards and policies for secure application development (PCI-DSS), review application code, and educate others on application security. In regards to Cascade CMS , we are currently working on redesigns for our main Websites, having launched the redesigned LVVWD site in August. The Springs Preserve site will launch on 11/7. There are many more sites to come.
How do you spend your time when you’re not working?
Most of my free time is taken by martial arts training. I also do Ballroom and Latin dancing, play
What is your favorite place in the world and why?
For now, I’d have to say Las Vegas is my favorite place. Not only is it home, but you can do anything at any time. The weather is predictable and there are no natural disasters.
What is your favorite movie/TV show and why?
Currently, my favorite show is Stranger Things. It reminds me of growing up with my childhood friends. The characters are relatable, and every episode is well done.
