How did you first learn of Hannon Hill?
When I worked at Whitworth University I had been researching Cascade CMS. We hired a firm called mStoner to give us guidance on the CMS selection process and I believe a man by the name of Voltaire (unforgettably great name) from mStoner recommended Cascade CMS.

What influenced your decision to work with Hannon Hill?
Right off the bat in the interview process I could tell the HH culture had a strong emphasis on collaboration, pushing for new ideas and that they valued design. This was pretty exciting to me.

What does a typical work day look like for you?
I am very fortunate because my job affords me the ability to work on a number of projects with lots of different people. I love this variety. I am typically creating design compositions and prototyping concepts for new product features, or new product concepts. I collaborate with developers on implementing designs and wireframes and be a part of shaping the product to make sure it's designed well and is usable.

The Cascade dashboard design is one of my favorites but I am also really excited about how the Clive application is coming along.

What is your biggest motivator?
Customer happiness! Making products that enhance a person's job or making it easier instead of being an impedance. Accolades are great but I really do prefer to hear from a customer that something I helped created made their job easier.

And now for some fun questions…..

Give us one truth and one lie:
- I got 2nd in a Connect-Four tournament amount 10,000 people
- I'm playing in the world's largest 3 on 3 basketball tournament this summer

Which is better: the food in Atlanta or the food in Washington?
Ooh that's a tough one. I'm gonna have to say Washington. The burgers and Mexican food are tough to beat. Although I tried some octopus last time I was in Atlanta. Not bad.

Why have you never seen Game of Thrones??
Is that on the Hallmark channel? If not, that could be why I haven't seen it yet. Just kidding. It is on my list to try soon.
