Join us in Atlanta, Georgia for two days of technical training with Cascade CMS Developers, Engineers, and Trainers. This is a unique opportunity to learn hands-on from the people who built the product and work in the app on a daily basis. There's no one better to share best-practice techniques to improve your Cascade CMS implementation.
For the final stop on the Cascade CMS Regional Training Conference tour, we're heading to MicroTek Training Rooms in Atlanta, a city known for its rich history, fine dining, attractions, and shopping.
MicroTek Atlanta serves the entire metropolitan area and is near some of the city's most popular attractions including the Georgia Dome and CNN Center. With two tracks to choose from, you’ll hear content that’s aligned with your current skill set and needs.
Track One - Advanced Velocity & Web Services
On day one, a Hannon Hill team member will cover advanced Velocity tools and tactics. Topics will include when and how to use the Query tool, string replacements, arrays, node structure versus objects, and Velocity best practices. On day two, we will utilize PHP to introduce users to the Cascade CMS web services API.
Track Two - Cascade CMS Boot Camp (System Administrator Training)
Track Two is for developers and system administrators who never went through formal training with the Hannon Hill team. It’s also for long-term users who need a refresher on best practices. You will learn how to manage Users and Groups, create content, and approve change through Workflow. Then, you will build on that knowledge and learn how to integrate the fundamental assets needed to take full advantage of the product.
New for this year and exclusive to the Atlanta event, we're offering a virtual ticket to live stream the two days of technical training. Virtual attendees will be able to interact with the teacher, see their peers, and ask questions. Closer to the date of the event, we will share credentials to join the live stream.
Two days of workshop-like sessions will run from 9:00am - 5:00pm on Tuesday, November 19 and Wednesday, November 20. We will provide breakfast, lunch, snacks, drinks, and sufficient break time.
In addition to the two days of hands-on learning with our team, you’ll have plenty of time to network with colleagues and have fun. We will host a social event on the evening of November 19. We’ll share drinks, food, and conversation in a more laid-back setting.
