# How can I find the O/S account running Cascade CMS?

> The User Name field in Logs and System Information shows the account the application runs under.

To find out which O/S account is running the application:

1. Navigate to [Logs and System Information](https://www.hannonhill.com/cascadecms/latest/articles/cascade-administration/administration-tools/logs-and-system-information.html).
1. Scroll to the **User Name** field.

That value is the account Cascade CMS is currently running under.
