# Why can't my users see anything in the Add Content menu?

> An Asset Factory appears in Add Content only when the user's Group is listed in Applicable Groups on both the Asset Factory and its Container.

To see an item in the **Add Content** menu, a user must belong to a Group listed in the **Applicable Groups** field *on both the Asset Factory and the Asset Factory's Container*. Missing either one hides the item.

## Add Applicable Groups to the Container

1. Go to **Manage Site** > **Asset Factories**.
1. Right-click the Container and select **Edit**, or click the Container and click **Edit**.
1. In **Applicable Groups**, click **Choose Groups** and add the Groups that should see this Container in their Add Content menu.
1. Click **Submit**.

## Add Applicable Groups to each Asset Factory

1. Go to **Manage Site** > **Asset Factories**.
1. Right-click the Asset Factory and select **Edit**, or click it and click **Edit**.
1. In **Applicable Groups**, click **Choose Groups** and add the Groups that should see this Asset Factory.
1. Click **Submit**.
