The 2015 User Conference Call to Speakers is Open!

The call for speakers is now open! Through June 5th, you can submit your proposal to be considered as a speaker for the 2015 Cascade User Conference.

Why submit a proposal?

Our attendees continue to learn so much from each other, and you would be supporting and inspiring the development of a community of peers in your field. In addition to the increased exposure and networking opportunities, our speakers also get a free pass to the conference, including two free nights at the conference hotel of their choice.

Have you been a part of a Cascade project involving any of the following?

  • Redesigning your website - Did you decide to outsource design versus in-house design? What requirements gathering, using data to make decisions, letting content drive the design
  • RSS Feeds - Leveraging the power of RSS feeds to syndicate content, push content to other systems, and consume content from other sources.
  • COPE (Create Once, Publish Everywhere) - How to structure your content for optimal COPE.
  • Migrating content to Cascade - How to use the migration tool and best prepare for a migration project.
  • Optimizing UX in Cascade - How to build content types, data definitions, metadata sets, smart fields, in-context editing, and workflows that make sense to your content contributors.
  • Best practices to developing a train the trainer program.

Other topics we'd love to see client presentations cover:

  • Powering your blogs with Cascade - How to create blogs including tags/categories and commenting.
  • Web analytics - What are the most important metrics to track in order to get actionable data?
  • Transitioning from XSLT to Velocity - Why your organization transition to Velocity, and how to go about it.
  • Enterprise level templates - How do you address content sharing, individual identities, and a global brand?
  • Centralized versus decentralized web governance
  • Social media strategy - How to develop a documented social media strategy? Which metrics to use, how to set goals, and which tools to use?

In other words, if you have something that can provide value to our attendees, we want you!
