Cascade Exchange

This is the12th blog post in our ongoing Cascade Exchange (#CascadeXC) Series, where we’ll be highlighting a different resource every week. Check out last week’s post on the Left Navigation module.

Rotating site banners have their pros and cons, but one thing's for sure: they couldn't be easier to implement than they are with our JavaScript Banner example. This resource contains all the code you need to make a banner rotate automatically.

Using a structured Data Definitions, end users can change out the content of the banner without knowing any XHTML or JavaScript code. The examples also offer multiple options for how to implement the banner. So choose from custom banners created on each page or shared banners that are created once and reused anywhere!

Download the example Velocity or XSLT code and start empowering your users for creating rotating banners that call out important information for your website visitors. Visit the JavaScript Banner resource to access this example code.
