Why can't my users see anything in the Add Content menu?

To see an item in the Add Content menu, a user must belong to a Group listed in the Applicable Groups field on both the Asset Factory and the Asset Factory's Container. Missing either one hides the item.

Add Applicable Groups to the Container

  1. Go to Manage Site > Asset Factories.
  2. Right-click the Container and select Edit, or click the Container and click Edit.
  3. In Applicable Groups, click Choose Groups and add the Groups that should see this Container in their Add Content menu.
  4. Click Submit.

Add Applicable Groups to each Asset Factory

  1. Go to Manage Site > Asset Factories.
  2. Right-click the Asset Factory and select Edit, or click it and click Edit.
  3. In Applicable Groups, click Choose Groups and add the Groups that should see this Asset Factory.
  4. Click Submit.
