Why can't my users access the full search feature?

If your users see the following error when attempting to access Full Search:

Your role does not authorize you to view this resource.

you may need to adjust their System Roles. Because Full Search and Replace lives in the Administration area, access is granted there:

  1. Navigate to the user under Administration > Users.
  2. Click the user account and note the System Roles assigned to them.
  3. Select the Role most appropriate for enabling this capability and click Edit.
  4. Under Administration Area Abilities, enable Access Administration Area and click Submit.

Everyone who holds that System Role gains the abilities you enable. After making this change, review your users' System and Site Roles to confirm no unintended access was granted elsewhere in the Administration area.
