How do I rename an asset?

To rename an asset:

  1. While viewing the asset, click More > Rename. You can also do this from the context menu.
  2. In the New Name field, enter the new name.
  3. Click Rename.

Renaming unpublishes the asset

Renaming removes the asset from all enabled Destinations and Outputs. Once renamed, publish it immediately, along with any sections of your Sites that link to it.

Not seeing the Rename option? Your CMS or Site Administrator needs to enable the Move/Rename assets ability on your Site Role.
