You are not authorized to schedule future publish dates
As of Cascade CMS v8.2, the Start Date field publishes the asset at the selected date. If a user sees the following error during submission, their Site Role does not allow them to publish:

Please contact an administrator for assistance regarding your publishing rights or send the changes to an applicable Workflow.You can confirm this by checking the user's Effective Abilities under the Publishing section. To set a Start Date in the future, the user's Site Role needs the Publish writeable Home area assets ability, or the user needs another Site Role that has it.
Enabling this ability lets users with that Site Role publish any asset they have write access to, not just the one in question. Where that's too broad, route the change through a Workflow instead.
