Adding an image to a page
If you're working in a WYSIWYG editor, you add an image by uploading it to Cascade CMS first, then browsing for it in the editor.
- Upload your image by clicking Add Content and using an appropriate file option.
- These options are set up by your CMS administrator, so they may be named something like "File" or "Image".
- If you don't see any file options in the Add Content menu, contact your CMS administrator or web team.
- Click the Insert/Edit image button, browse for the file you just created, and add descriptive alternative text.
- Optionally, click the image to select it, then use the alignment buttons in the toolbar to apply a float and control text wrapping.
Alternative text is not optional for accessibility. For guidance on writing it well, see the WYSIWYG guide.
