Adding classes to links and images

Adding a class to a link

  1. Highlight the link, or place your cursor somewhere in the link text.
  2. Click the Insert/edit link icon. You can also right-click the link and select Link.
  3. In the Styling field, select one of the listed styles.
  4. Click Ok.

Adding a class to an image

  1. In the editor, click the image to select it.
  2. Click the Insert/edit image icon. You can also right-click the image and select Image.
  3. In the Styling field, select the style you want to apply.
  4. Click Ok.

Adding a class to a figure

The Styling field applies to the image itself. To reach the surrounding <figure>, click the image, then find the element path in the status bar just below the editor — it reads figure » img. Click figure, then use Format → Formats → Custom to apply a class to that element.

If no class names appear in that menu, first confirm you selected figure in the element path. If there are still no options, ask your administrator whether the WYSIWYG Editor Configuration allows classes on figure elements.

If the Styling field isn't visible

The WYSIWYG Editor Configuration in use has no CSS classes set in its CSS classes to add field. Reach out to your CMS or Site Administrator to have those options made available.
