Creating an anchor link

Anchor links, sometimes called "skip links", let you link to a particular spot within the same page or a different page.

  1. Place your cursor where you want the destination anchor to appear and click the Anchor button in the toolbar.
  2. Enter a unique ID for your anchor and click OK. Keep a copy of this ID — you need it in the steps below.
  3. If the anchor isn't in the same page as the link, edit the page that will contain the link.
  4. Use the Insert/Edit link button in the toolbar to create an Internal link.
  5. Use the page chooser to browse for the page containing your anchor. For an anchor within the same page, this is the current page.
  6. In the Anchor field, type or paste the exact ID you used for the destination anchor. Cascade appends the anchor ID to the end of the link URL.
