How can I redesign a site using our existing content?

This setup lets you develop a new site design against your current content, alongside the existing design.

  1. Edit your site's Configurations and add a new Output. This Output uses your new Templates, Blocks, and Formats.
  2. Edit your site's Content Types and configure the Publish Options so the new Output publishes to your test or development Destinations.

When it's time to make the new design live:

  1. Edit your site's Configurations, make the new Output the default, and disable the previous Output.
  2. Edit your site's Content Types and configure the Publish Options so the new Output publishes to your production Destinations.
