Our Media Gallery, a commonly-requested site content option, is here! Use the gallery as an independent page that allows multiple customizable galleries to be added by simply applying your header, footer and site CSS/JS to the template. Or, add a gallery option among your existing content display options and simply call the #outputGallery() macro to embed your gallery.
Creating a new gallery is easy! Upload all your images into a folder (an Asset Factory is provided for this to utilize the Title for Alternative Text) and use the Gallery block to customize the look and feel of the media folder using the variety of options available (see screenshots). Use the Video Block Asset Factory to add videos from YouTube, Vimeo, DailyMotion and Local files to your Media Gallery.
The Media Gallery has been tested and updated for accessibility using the WAVE Accessibility Tool and meets Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 AA standards.
