Configuring table properties
To configure properties for a table:
- Click anywhere in the table to select it.
- In the pop-up menu that appears, click the Table properties icon on the far left.
The dialog has two tabs.
General
Enter values for Width, Height, Cell spacing, Cell padding, and Border. Values can be a number of pixels or a percentage, using a % sign.
You can also set the table's Alignment (None, Left, Center, or Right) and add a Caption. See Adding a caption to a table for more detail.
Advanced
Enter styles in the Style field, and set a Border color or Background color.
Where your site has CSS classes available, prefer applying a class over setting colors and dimensions here. Classes keep tables consistent with the rest of the site and survive a redesign.
