Symlink

A symlink is defined in the following WSDL:

While called "symlink" in Cascade Server, a symlink is not a "symbolic link" as is available in UNIX-style operating systems. If you wish to have something that functions similar to a symlink (primarily for indexing), look into the Reference type. A symlink is just a reference to an external URL. A symlink extends from expiring-asset, so it has all the fields available from that step in the hierarchy, and it does not specify any additional fields at this time.
